hahaha..the things i find in my computer.

I am not here to knock you down
i am here to pick you up whenever one that is around
seems to be pushing on your violently
then i come through real silently
and pick you up and dust you off
and let shine so vibrantly

i am not here to make you cry
i am here to wipe the tears from off your cheek and under eyes
i am here to make you grin
amongst the rain that's coming in
and let you stand under my um-br-ella
and wipe you off again.

i am not here to make you worried.
i am here to ease the anxiety that life shoves in a hurry
when no one is looking and things get a little bleek
i am here for ever and a day so things that look so meek
are vanished off your mind
with the help of me and mine
because no one wants the weight of earth
on their shoulders all the time

i am not here to upset you
though i find i do it and i know it's true.
but understand i reflect upon myself
to place my own pride upon the shelf
and realize what i need is help
and think of how you could've felt
cause i am here to make you smile
from ear to ear and cheek to cheek
i'll stick around, longer than a while
because i know that i'm the one you seek

i am not here to control your life
because sometimes i cannot con-trol mine
but apparently i have this trait
and i hope that i can change my fate
because i dont want to be told what to do
so why should i do the same to you
i am here to live side by side
next to you walking hand in hand
and put away my stupid pride
and together strongly, we both stand.

i am not here to do anything but
keep you afloat when the tide comes in high
sometimes i fail, but you know what?
im glad youve got a shoulder i can cry
upon when times get tough for me
cause without you, there is no we
and we is what makes me feel brand new
so i want to make you feel that too.

i am here to love you.
more than anyone can
and more than anyone will
forever and ever more.
until my heart no longer beats
and beyond the grave
